What Is Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator made to restore the deep, underlying structure of your skin and diminish facial wrinkles. It works by stimulating the skin to produce its own natural collagen, which results in a more contoured and youthful appearance. This injectable is FDA-approved and typically used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds. If you’re looking for a natural-looking fix to fight the signs of aging, Sculptra® may be a good choice for you.

Our Approach to Sculptra® Treatments

During a Sculptra® procedure here at our office, you will be asked to lie down and relax while we administer the injections. After injection, the Sculptra® formula will be gradually and naturally absorbed by your body. Over time, this compound will help rebuild lost collagen and give you the youthful skin you’ve been dreaming of. On average, a series of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months is needed to get the most out of these injections. The number of injections during each session will vary depending on the degree of correction needed and the treatment plan determined by you and our specialists. You may experience mild discomfort during the treatment and you may experience some redness and bruising post-procedure; however, you’ll be able to return to your regular activities right away.

The Results

Keep calm, and don’t be disappointed if you don’t see immediate results. This injectable is designed to give you noticeable results that emerge gradually and can last more than two years. A few days after treatment, you may look as you did before treatment. This is normal and temporary. The Sculptra® aesthetic regimen delivers its full effects after three treatment sessions and over the course of a few months.
