What Is SKINVIVE™?

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is crafted from modified hyaluronic acid (HA), a molecule naturally present in your skin. Through these microdroplet injections, we can replenish your cheeks with HA, reinvigorating them with essential hydration from within. These treatments are meticulously designed to help the skin retain its natural moisture and softness, leading to a marked enhancement in the smoothness of your cheek area. You might already be familiar with hyaluronic acid as a key component in moisturizing creams and serums. In SKINVIVE™, hyaluronic acid attracts water within your skin, ensuring your cheeks remain well-hydrated and exude a naturally smooth appearance.

Our Approach

Although SKINVIVE™ utilizes hyaluronic acid, technically classifying it as a filler, its distinctive modified hyaluronic acid formulation is engineered to enhance cheek smoothness and infuse inner hydration for a seamlessly textured, radiant complexion, all without changing your face shape or volume.

These injectable treatments come with minimal downtime, especially compared with other skin quality treatment recovery times that can stretch up to 2 weeks. SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® takes roughly 15 minutes to inject. This does not include consultation and evaluation time.

The Results

Patients who have received SKINVIVE™ treatments have experienced cheek skin smoothness lasting consistently through 6 months. You can expect glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy skin for half the year with just one treatment.

An optional touch up may be needed to achieve the desired aesthetic effect, so we recommend seeing your SF | Bay Area provider every 6 months to see if you should get treated. This treatment is available to patients of all skin types.
