Meet NP Alix Bard

As our practice grows, so does our staff. SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery is excited to welcome our newest member and Nurse Practitioner, Alix Bard. 

Before you book an appointment with the highly skilled newbie, we’re giving you the opportunity to get to know her a bit better.

Nurse Alix began her career in Indianapolis in 2014. She started as a medical surgery RN and has spent the last six years working in the OR. Despite her passion for the quick turn, high-pressure environment, Alix knew it wasn’t her calling, “ I knew my passion was in aesthetics. I became a Nurse Practitioner in 2020 to further my career in the aesthetics industry.”

In fact, she’s so passionate about aesthetics, she moved across the country, setting foot in California for the first time ever, to come work for us— and we couldn’t be happier she made the courageous shift.

As she gets comfortable with our practice, Alix knows the patients are the most important, “Right now, my main goal is to build relationships with our current patients. I’m super excited to continue to meet and treat everyone!”

Still, she doesn’t come without an established opinion. When asked about her favorite procedure at SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery she’s quick to fire off two: HydraFacial and Botox. 

“Hydrafacials are definitely the most relaxing treatment we offer here, but nothing compares to Botox! If I could bring one thing to a deserted island it would be Botox. And SPF. They are tied for first.”  

Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, Alix knows that bedside manners matter explaing, “Dr. Fazilat and the entire team make coming here an experience. Even if you don’t receive any treatment, you’ll leave feeling like you just spent an hour with your friends.” 

As for the best part of the job, she knows it’s all about you, “[My favorite part of the job is that] I’m able to help someone become the very best version of themselves!”

Nervous? Don’t be. “ I’ll always be honest about what to expect [from a procedure], but assure the [patient] that they are in great hands.”
