Every woman wants to have shapely, beautiful breasts. Many of our patients find that their breasts have sagged and their breast volume has decreased due to the natural aging process, weight loss or breastfeeding, resulting in a need for a breast lift.
A breast lift (mastopexy) is a common cosmetic surgery procedure performed in the United States. Dr. Fazilat can restore a more youthful appearance to your breasts that have sagged. As a result weight loss, pregnancy, loss of the skin’s natural elasticity, or simply the effect of aging and gravity.
Breast lifts combine the removal of excess breast skin with tightening of the skin, making it a good option for a woman who wants to reclaim her natural shape without a significant change in size.
Dr. Fazilat has extensive training in mastopexy and breast augmentation mastopexy. He is able to offer his patients short-scar techniques (vertical scar/lollipop technique) to return their breasts to their original youthful shape.

Recovering from a breast lift at SF | Bay Area Plastic Surgery
After breast lift surgery, patients can go home the same day but should have an adult stay with them for 24 hours after surgery to monitor their recovery.
The recovery period ranges from 3 days to 1 week. Most patients feel very well with 4-5 days, but strenuous activity should be avoided for 2 to 3 weeks.
Stitches are removed a week to 10 days after breast lift surgery. Any post-operative pain, swelling, and/or sensitivity will commonly diminish over the first few weeks. Finally, scars from breast lift incisions begin to fade in a few months and continue to fade for months or years to come.
Dr. Fazilat will schedule a follow-up post-recovery office visit in Morgan Hill or Mountain View, California to discuss your progress.
