Kristina Meltzer, Patient Administrator
Hi there! My name is Kristina and I am the Patient Administrator here at SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery. A little about me: I was finished with nursing school by the time I realized I was a little too squeamish for the field and moved quickly into the hospitality industry while trying to decide what I was going to do next – I never would have guessed that my true passion lived in the cosmetic surgery world! Working alongside Dr. Fazilat and our amazing team of injectors has taught me so much about this industry. I love sharing with our patients (and anyone else who will listen) about it.
I am frequently moved to tears by the kind words of our grateful patients and I am truly honored to play a part in their journeys to regain self-confidence. As a cosmetic surgery patient myself, I feel a unique connection to the men and women who find themselves in surgical consultations with us.
In addition to being knowledgeable, experienced, and up to date with the aesthetics field, my goal for the team at SFBAPS is for us to embody kindness and compassion. Our patients might forget to wear their SPF and sometimes they even forget their appointments, but they won’t ever forget how we made them feel.
Likes: When I’m not at the office, I spend most of my time with all the babies my friends and family have blessed my life with!
Favorite Treatments: Oh man, don’t make me pick just one! I am skincare OBSESSED and will never miss a facial. Although I think I am our clinical staff’s least favorite patient, I’ve tried almost everything we offer in the office and it’s safe to say I am an aesthetic treatment junkie haha. If I really had to pick just one treatment to get the rest of my life, I think it would have to be SkinPen…or maybe Morpheus 8… I can’t choose! You really can’t go wrong with anything that stimulates collagen!
Madison Stricklin, Nurse Practitioner
Hello! My name is Madison Stricklin. I am a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Aesthetic Medicine. Since starting with SFBAPS two years ago, I was inspired to advance my career in Aesthetics and pursue my Master’s in Nursing. It has always been a dream of mine to further my education in medicine so that I can provide my patients with the highest level of care. I am proud to announce that at the end of 2022, I have accomplished this lifelong dream of mine. I love practicing aesthetic medicine because it allows me to live my passion for helping men and women feel confident in their own skin. My goal as an aesthetic injector is to provide natural enhancements to the face and body while utilizing updated technology and advanced techniques.
I was personally introduced to the aesthetics field when I was once a patient myself. I have struggled with cystic acne since elementary school, and when I was finally old enough to treat acne scarring with various lasers, I fell in love with all things SKIN! Having acne all over my face was a huge insecurity for me. Now that I have finally removed my one insecurity about my skin, I feel even more passionate about helping others feel comfortable in their own skin and helping to make people feel and believe the beauty they already had within.
Favorite treatment: My favorite treatment to get myself is Botox! I love that this magical little drug can create subtle yet drastic changes in the face and body with virtually no downtime!
Likes: I like to snowboard in the wintertime, hang out with friends and family, and take mini weekend getaways in the summer months!
Amy Do, Registered Nurse
Hi there! My name is Amy Do. I am a Registered Nurse and I have been practicing Aesthetic Medicine since 2018. My journey started when I came across an aesthetic nurse talking about her experiences, and it piqued my interest to learn more. Since then, I continue to stay in the forefront of industry trends, products, and techniques with a focus on minimally invasive procedures. I am ecstatic to be able to combine two of my passions: love for science and to help men and women feel their best selves.
I enjoy helping people achieve their personal goals to enhance their inner and outer beauty. My favorite treatment for patients is a full-face rejuvenation with dermal fillers to restore balance and harmony. The most rewarding feeling is being able to be part of the process and seeing someone shine their light a little brighter and smile a little wider after leaving our office. And with fillers, we can see results instantly! At the end of the day, my ultimate goal is to assist patients to feel confident in their own skin with a natural look and feel.
Favorite Treatments: There are so many treatments, but I would have to say Microneedling with Autologous Conditioned Plasma is my favorite treatment. I love that it’s very tolerable and that I can see how my texture and skin is softer after just two weeks!
Likes: In my free time I love being outdoors, exploring new places, and the occasional cup of coffee.
Natali Call, Registered Nurse
Hola! My name is Natali Call. I’m from Monterrey, Mexico and I am a Registered Nurse here at SFBAPS. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always known I wanted to be in the medical field. Pretty early into my bachelor’s degree in nursing, I knew I wanted to be in the aesthetic field as I have always loved all things beauty and skin. Aesthetic nursing has been a perfect match for me to combine my passion for science and art.
Being an aesthetic nurse has allowed me to tune into my creative side as well as pushed me to keep up with new research, technology, and education. I love providing my patients research-based options that will help them feel amazing in their own skin.
My mission is to enhance my patients’ natural beauty and make a positive change in their lives. I look forward to meeting some of you in person and help you achieve your goals to feel beautiful inside and out.
Likes: My husband and I love to travel! Traveling gets you out of your comfort zones and forces you to explore and taste new things. We both are foodies at heart and love to try different cuisines.
Favorite Treatments: I absolutely love going through a Morpheus 8 journey with my patients. Microneedling combined with radiofrequency helps rebuild collagen as well as tightening the skin.
Kali Schmidt, Skin Care Expert & Licensed Esthetician
Hi! My name is Kali Schmidt and I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. After struggling with my own skin issues for many years, I developed my love for aesthetics. In 2013 I moved to Maui to become a licensed aesthetician and graduated first in my class. I’ve gone on to continue my education in pigmentation issues, chemical peels, dermaplaning and acne.
Treating acne is where my true passion lies, I understand how struggling with acne can negatively affect all aspects of life. As a certified Acne Specialist, helping my clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin is the most rewarding part of my job. I believe in looking at all aspects of my client’s lifestyle contributing to their specific skin issue, and creating a well-rounded plan to get their skin to where we want it to be.
Likes: When I’m not in the office, I love going to the beach, spending time with my niece, taking ski trips with my dad and hanging out with friends.
Favorite Treatments: My favorite treatments to perform on patients are Acne treatments and dermaplaning. My favorite treatments to have done on myself are Hydrafacials and Microneedling.
Jamie Hogan, Assistant Practice Manager & Patient Concierge
Hello! My name is Jamie Hogan, and I am the Assistant Practice Manager and Patient Concierge here at SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery. I have worked in the beauty industry for 8 years now. After finishing my general education studies at De Anza College, I decided to follow my passion and enroll in Cosmetology School at The Salon Professional Academy, where I later graduated and passed my state board exam. After working in various salons for 4 years, I quickly moved into the Administrative, Training, and Management side of salons and really found my niche.
I have a true passion for giving our patients the best experience they can have from the moment they enter our office and beyond. I love being a part of something that helps to give people confidence and all around feel better about themselves. I really believe when you look good, you feel good, and I’m thrilled to be in the business of helping our patients feel good!
Likes: When I’m not working, I’m usually spending every waking moment I can with my dog. I love finding cool, trendy coffee shops and taking mini vacations with my friends!
Favorite Treatments: It’s difficult to pick just one! There are still so many treatments I’m excited to try. I love a good full facial assessment where I get a combination of neuromodulators and filler to balance my face more and accentuate my natural features. Also, I have to give a huge shoutout to our Acne Bootcamp products and treatments for giving me the clear skin I’ve always wanted!
